Is it only me who feels that the front end of the facelifted Compass is very similar to the new gen GLS? The lower bumper specifically and in some ways the headlights.





I liked the pre-facelift Compass much more! It had a distinctive face which no car had.

Also the boot opening button could have been tucked near the rear view camera atleast in the update.

Still, the windshield spray nozzles are not integrated and stick out inviting people/monkeys to play twister with them. Overall integration of the DRLs is welcome, but I hope it's not just a single line without any design patterns "as with Alturas G4".

Definitely upgraded interiors, but the exterior is a so-so upgrade. They could have gotten so much done with minimum alteration.

Ehh? It looks too soft. And the interiors need a proper revamp, but then again we can't expect too much from a mid cycle face-lift. Hopefully the next gen Compass corrects the current one's flaws.

Pretty disappointed by the facelift. I see Jeep India digging a bigger ditch for themselves with this. And this time too if they outprice themselves out of the market, they will see the likes of MGs, KIAs and even TATAs now laughing their way to the bank.

Jeep has poor service network, high servicing cost, medium parts reliability, a shocker in the FE department, shaky gearbox, and no great shakes in the gadgetary department either. The only thing working for them is the rub off of the master Jeep brand.

This seems to have brought in a sense of arrogance in the Indian team, which is consistently getting it wrong and that's apparent in the sales numbers vs. the opportunity in front of them.

Was eagerly awaiting this, disappointed.

The 2021 Jeep Compass facelift is likely to come only with cosmetic changes on the outside and better equip the SUV with comfort and convenience features but the brand is not expected to make any changes to the mechanical parts or the powertrain which has been recently upgraded to match the new stringent BS6 emission standards

Don't think the facelift is going to help Compass sales, Jeep needs Seltos/Creta and Nexon/Brezza segment vehicles to stay afloat in India. You simply can't survive with a single model, that too one which sells in low numbers. It looks like the curtains for Jeep Inida will be down in another couple of years. I can't see proper strategy at all. With the new Thar, it would be difficult even if Renegade materializes.

How early are we expecting the facelift to arrive? I was in process of finalizing a current gen. Hence would be okay with waiting if they start facelift deliveries by Jan-Feb '21.

If you notice this pic, rear wheel is well aligned within the wheel-well and there is no offset. However for the India model, they may shorten the wheel-base on the same body shell which results in a weird offset (which is present in the current car).

I think this is going to look better in person than in photos. I am saving up for a compass limited 4*4 (targeting for August 2021) and I don't mind this refresh. My only request to FCA is to get rid of the blanks on the steering wheel.

Look like the interiors are going to be totally different with that massive tab taking the centre place. Also, I see a digital speedo screen in one pic, if yes then the Compass will stay in the present trend of digital screen era

My only hope is Jeep India should use this facelift as an opportunity and price it neck to neck with the Harrier and alikes!
