Mercedes will be launching the AMG C 63 Coupe and the AMG GT R in India on May 27, 2020.

The Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 469 BHP and 650 Nm. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes claims that the car will do 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.

The AMG GT R is the high performance version of the AMG GT. The car features a sportier bodykit and has a fixed rear spoiler. It is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 569 BHP and 700 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The car is claimed to do 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 318 km/h.

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the new Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.33 crore ex-showroom.

The new C 63 Coupe comes in six different driving modes - Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Race, and Individual.

The new Mercedes-AMG GT R is now available in India. It is priced at Rs. 2.48 crore (ex-showroom, India).

Mercedes has updated the AMG GT R with new LED headlights and tail lights. It also gets a redesigned exhaust and rear diffuser.

On the inside, the new AMG GT R comes with a new steering wheel and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The car also gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The Mercedes-AMG GT R is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 577 BHP and 700 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The AMG GT R is claimed to do 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 318 km/h. It also comes with rear-wheel steering as standard.

Given my limited driving with such cars, the AMG C63 Coupe is the most insane car I have driven. A proper track machine, but I really dont know what happens to it in our country. I have driven the C63 sedan as well but this thing has a stiffer suspension, steering and is a completely different animal when it comes to putting all that power down to the road. Accelerate in neutral and the car shakes slightly due to the counterforce generated by the engine. It has a lot of party tricks including that switchable exhaust which completely changes the sound. This is one car where I have literally seen the tyre being eaten after one day of hard usage. And the expression on my face after pushing this car for two continuous days:

100% agree. The C63 (and even more so the AMG GTR) are too stiff for normal usage.
The first thing legendary BMW tuner Steve Dinan did to the C63 was to soften up the suspension and change the geometry.
