Both premium small sized SUVs targeted at those who want to upgrade from the C segment and have caught on to the SUV craze.

Neither are blockbusters but clearly Compass got some things right where Yeti couldn't, particularly the marketing.

Daewoo Matiz-->Tata Tiago (Both look chic, are solidly built, safe, come with some standout features like parking sensors in the case of the Matiz and driving modes for the Tiago, have commuter engines and are very easy to drive)

Fiat Palio-->VW Polo (Timeless designs, tank like builds, fantastic handling, powerful hearts)

Opel Astra-->Hyundai Verna (segment first features, good build and overall quality, soft suspension, good looking)

Premier Rio: Smallest SUV that one could dream of owning in India. Flopped for good reasons.

Successor: Ford Ecosport. The car was very similar to the Rio in terms of design and dimensions, do note that there was no other car that looked like these two before.

I would say Fiat Palio (Petrol) -> Ford Figo (TDCI), not because I bought Figo after Palio but both had similar steering feedback, good to drive feel and good build quality.
