Yes, they also got the Facelifted Fortuner for demo, it is getting readied for the showroom glamor.

My car's delivery date is not being committed yet, thought they say that it should be delivered to me soon.

Any idea if Toyota rectified the goof-up of providing A/T tyres on rear wheel drive Fortuners and H/T tyres on 4wd ones?

I think this was on purpose. Give better AT tyres for a less capable 4x2 and give HT tyres for 4x4 since it will pull you out in most cases even with HT tyres. Some real smart 🤓 guys over at Toyota

Comes with Dueler HT, almost 90% sure on this. In Australia too Fortuner Crusade comes with Road tyres . I am told this to help comfort in 18 inchers. That said if you plan to do a lot of off road, AT tyres would have been nice.

Yeah, wish they had done that. It is safe to assume that a 4x4 variant will be used for mild, if not hard-core, off-road activities. Endeavour comes with A/T tyres across variants, I believe.

Toyota seems not to be in a hurry, I guess their usual brisk production process line is effected. The delivery dates are being pushed around by a week or so.

Not surprising, given that TKM's Bidadi plant came out of lockdown just a week or so back, and it will be a while before assembly lines attain a steady state, leading to more accurate delivery projections. The global shortage of semiconductor chips is not helping either.

That said, deliveries seem to have commenced here in Bangalore, starting yesterday.
