The facelift looks great, no two ways about it. The speaker placement on the dashboard looks VERY aftermarket but nobody would care as the car already commands a waiting period now. This car and a BMW 3 series cost almost the same in Delhi NCR , such is the respect for Fortuner and Toyota as a brand.

I did see some posts complaining about the high price but this time Toyota has atleast provided additional features. This truck can go anywhere, bullet proof reliable, stellar resale and carries maintenance costs of a Swift backed by Toyota's excellent after sales support. If i was in the market for a 7 seater 4WD vehicle, this would be my first choice even though i like the Endeavour more. If i am spending 45 big ones on a car, i need to be sure that the brand is here to stay.

Talk to any workshop and any mechanic, they would never ever belittle a Fortuner. I find the PREMIUM over Endeavour and Gloster justified and yes i do not own any Toyota product, just a fan of their over engineered products.

Yes, it is the attitude black and it isn’t metallic.

This time with the facelift I find darker colours like black and grey to look better than the white, which was not the case with the pre-facelift model.

Took a quick look at Fortuner facelift today at a nearby dealership. Looks much more imposing and butch than the outgoing model. Interiors are definitely an improvement over the outgoing model but still a notch below the Endeavour. Seats felt comfortable, although not as premium as the Endeavour's. The 2 dash speakers definitely look like after-market fitment - they are actually glued on to the dashboard! Did not get a chance to check the ICE but did get to hear the engine as the car was being parked inside the showroom - the engine sounded delicious and droolworthy! Build quality seems to have been improved over the outgoing model, so is the underbody protection to an extent. Now waiting for a test drive, although the dealer says it will be a while before a test-drive car will be available, as they are prioritising customer deliveries.

Some pictures for your viewing pleasure. This was a pearl white and looked quite good. Dark colors should look good as well.

Bought home my fortuner 4*4 AT today.
Quick observations:
1. Engine is a beast and gearbox is pretty well mated. Insulation is quite good as well. Comparable to my Endeavour with ANC.
2. Ride is still on stiffer side. Need to check tire pressure. Though I don't think that will make this truck plush.
3. Steering was actually quite good. At standstill it's still heavy but on the move/low speeds is quite a joy. Overall find it better than sensitive steering of Endeavour.
4. Headlights are good, I guess the one in Legendre will be a blinder.
5. Audio is good, especially in the front. Rear ones are not that loud but clear.
6. Ventilated seats are effective though fans get bit noisy at max output.

Congratulations, guys Wishing you hundreds of thousands of happy and safe miles! Do share your experiences, especially vis-a-vis the older gen Fortuner (Surya) and Endeavour (PrideRed). As Abhi pointed out above, key points to note would be changes to engine, handling, ride quality, and steering.
