A couple of QQ for both of you - 1) Are the rear camera guiding lines fixed or adaptive with steering inputs? 2) "The engine is a beast" - when compared to the pre-facelift model (2016+) or the pre-gen model? (< 2016) 3) Any play with the paddle-shifts? Are they better in response and tuning vs the pre-facelift? 4) The tires are AT/HT on your 4x4 models? 5) What is the storage capacity for Ad-blu tank? 6) How is the ICE touch screen response/feel? apologies for too many questions. your pics got me excited ![]()

1.Rear camera guidelines are fixed and not adaptive like in Endeavour. 2. My reference point is w.r.to 2. Endeavour and 2016 Fortuner. The extra torque is clearly felt. 3. You can use paddles in D. Downshift are super quick, same is not the case with upshift. Did not take request at times possible due to lack of torque? I don't know. Works better with S mode. I would use Sport mode with D, super fun. 4. Bridgestone Dueler HT in 4*4 and AT tires17 inch in 4*2. 5. Not too sure, I am told large enough to last 10K, have to check. 6. ICE is quite nice, clear with good response times. Does have similarities to older version, but vastly improved. Hope this helps.

| ![]() The car is indeed quick, speeds build up quite fast and gearbox, though not like a ZF 8 speed, is pretty good for a bulky SUV. Doesnot hesitate to drop gears when needed. Tried a bit offroading with H4 and the car has oodles of torque in L4 this can probably pull a 3BHK apartment! Insulation is pretty good and I find it as good or better than my Endeavour 2.2 with Active Noise Cancellation. Engine is smooth and doesnot have too much of typical diesel clatter. At 100KM/Hr, 6th gear engine RPM is at about 1500 and you can nearly hear the engine inside. Few pictures, last one a side by side shot with Endeavour. | ![]() Saw the Legender in flesh today, at a dealer. Nowhere as imposing as the Fortuner. |

Congrats on owning the new Fortuner.. ![]() Wish you a million miles of safe motoring! Please pen down your observations comparing this beast to your Endeavor 2.2 AT and Crysta 2.4 GX. Congratulations on getting the DON home ![]() Would be wonderful to hear how DON compares to the BOSS, especially since you owned the BOSS for over 7 years with almost 90K kms on the clock. Wish you a million miles of safe motoring! |

| ![]() Does anyone have a good picture of the new colour they have released? "Sparling Black"? I have booked a vehicle, but was keen to try the new colour. Any dealers with this colour on display? |
