Volkswagen might launch a small car in India as well

I guess that Vw may launch a car based on the Polo or the Brasilian built FOX.The Fox would be the best alternative.In europe it costs about 8000 euros in basic model.VW India should get really soon a big network if they want people to buy their cars.Dont forget Tata, Suzuki are the big players in india , hard to move them.

Volkswagen has bought land in Pune for starting production of their cars. Here is a picture from the calender:

Other manufacturers who have bought land in Pune include, GM, Bharat Forge, JCB, Mahindra Renault (In Nasik) and Boeing!

Vw is going to launch the fox here unfortunately don't know the exact time frame,indianised with the help of bosch.

It was all talk and no cars for as long as i remember now i guess that they have bought land started construction when they re done hope they will come up with some thing as of now a small and a big car are coming but it might take one more year for the small car but Passat could be here soon

Well, the latest Autocar has the news that Volkswagen is going to launch the Tiguan 2009 SUV in India.

we are getting a lot of news about VW AG in the country and about their intentions to launch audi,vw and skoda .now every piece of news has prices clashing between all the three brands .i wonder if the news sources provide the right news.cause some of the news does not make the right marketing sense.i dont have any link to prove so ,but for eg. i will present you with the folloing cases.
passat expected cost between 17-22,now superb costs 22-24 then how will they manage to charge premium for vw brand(considering this fact i now feel passat migth be 25-30 competing with audi A4)now isnt AUDI superior to vw?
vw golf is expected at 6-7 lacs.(what about the fabia then ?)
its kind of confusing, can anybody explain.
