That comment from TaMo about "automatic will be available in future" should be taken with a pinch of salt. Imagine a scenario where actually the XMas Altroz really is the much awaited Turbo+DCT version. If they already commented saying "Yes thats it!" - the whole idea of a special edition unveil itself will be redundant. So the comment should just be ignored as a vague reply. It can still go either way. I for one - really hope the turbo-DCT will arrive this early. Its really needed now.

I think the picture is pretty self explanatory that there would be gifts on the purchase of an Altroz. Hoping to see the Altroz EV or Turbo announcement though.

Maybe they are just giving away some freebies or some accessories as Christmas gifts when you go and buy the car. So they are just calling Altroz 'the Santa' for your Christmas.

It's the Nexon mostly. Not 100% sure.
I'm guessing it from the dashboard texture that is revealed at the end of the video.

The Altroz has a different texture and material (highlighted in the image below) which is missing in the video shared.


I don't think they would let the Altroz Turbo drive start before any formal announcement or reveal.

Nexon had two steps in the dash board, hence I think it is either Altroz Turbo or Altroz EV.

Nexon EV is already in the market and does not need another unwrapping.

Not an Altroz for sure. Note the hazard light switch and the dashboard pattern just above the AC vents. They look like those which are present in the Nexon. So, the car maybe a Nexon/Nexon EV. Or perhaps, it may be a new product.

It is most probably a new head-unit. Notice the 'HARMAN' branding on the screen which AFAIK is not present on the Altroz and Nexon; atleast I don't remember seeing that branding. Only the mid spec Tiago/Tigor with the non-touch music system has this branding.

Video seems to be of the Nexon. Reasons;

• Red square tape on the left corner of the screen protector, just like the Nexon.
• Nexon's dashboard texture
• The meter console's crease/curve.
• Glossy black outline of the HU as the Nexon while the Altroz has it's outline is silver.
