That pricing seems to be very high for hilux - It is on par with Fortuner.
So no price reduction for a 10 speaker music system, additional seats, Rear AC, Powered Boot and all that eh?
Toyota Hilux is Rs 2.47 L Cheaper Than Fortuner with launch prices

This is the case only for automatic.
Makes me wonder why the AT is just 1L more expensive in Hilux where as in Fortuner, it is 2.3L more expensive.

Fortuner all models will have a 4% hike starting tomorrow. 4x4MT currently is selling at 36.99L which is just 1L more than MT . Only Toyota knows the logic of charging 2.3L more for Fortuner AT whereas for Hilux its just 1L. Paddle shifters and Auto start stop(Missing in Hilux AT) is definitely not worth 1.3L premium.

Mod Note: The Toyota Hilux has been launched in India. Please continue the discussion on the new thread.
