I was hoping they would put sporty black interiors for the Sport edition atleast. I think beige will look odd with black wheels, bumber etc. Will remove the sport from the sport edition.

Media drives have begun for just a 'Sport' variant without any mechanical changes! I don't remember the last time a car which was cosmetically changed with blackened out bits given to journalists to test without any feature additions as well. Irony is Toyota gives the same 2016 Fortuner which they had separated for the media drives till this date for reviews and comparisons and not the updated one whereas Ford has revised the Endeavour 3 times(updated face, 2.0L update) in the meantime and now the 'Sport' edition.

From all the videos coming on YouTube, seems its going to be available only for Titanium (O) 2WD and 4WD. Not in the base version.
But I am happy to see they kept the beige interiors. I know black is preferred by many especially the folks going off road a lot but in the summers black interiors make the car a furnace when parked in the sun

That black on black Endeavour Sport is not looking as menacing as I would like it to be. Maybe blacking out the chrome handles would help the case, not sure though.

Expected better from Ford. I think the team who worked on this was the same team who made the Freestyle's Flair edition recently. Very half-hearted.

One thing I cannot comprehend is that why didn't they blacken the roof? They blackened everything else, but why was the roof missed out?

In fact, maybe they should've used this opportunity to launch a cheaper variant, sans the sunroof, auto-box, powered tailgate, leather seats etc. More like the erstwhile Trend variant, and drop the price by 3-4 lakhs or so. With the Harrier XZA+ touching 25L, this might look like a good proposition for someone who doesn't mind the stretch.

So many variants, feature change, and price changes! In the age of "Any press is good press", is Ford doing this to stay relevant?

I'd love to see a sport edition with the bi-turbo engine.

Launched now at Rs 35.10 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Ford Endeavour Sport will be the new top-trim variant in the line-up. No changes to power outputs 170 PS peak power and 420 Nm peak torque and will be offered only in 4x4 variant.
