The front and rear look as gaudy as ever, though the former is slightly more handsome.

Spotted a pre-facelift yesterday on my way to the airport. Wasn't too pleased with what my eyes had to witness; they were screaming in agony. It didn't help that the driver was an absolute imbecile either, cutting across our lane.

Still no Diesel Automatic ? When will they launch one, are they happy with current sales so that Diesel AT is not required.

Petrol AT is not quick and very thirsty, owners have reported single digit figures. Some have been getting just 5 kmpl inside city driving.

Diesel AT will make the Hector that much better although it isn't good dynamically as Compass or Harrier.

It’s good that the ventilated seats have been included. Still missing are advanced safety aids such as collision avoidance, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. Having seen them on the MG Gloster, I was hoping they will start drifting into other MG vehicles as well.

While the different set of Alloy wheel and addition of ventilated seats are a welcone change from the older spec, the W205 Mercedes C Class inspired diamond grille and the tacky over use of beige (akin to the old Swift Glam edition) makes me look away. Looks are subjective of course but I don't think the overall proportions can be made to look better with any number of facelifts.

For all the discussion about MG listening to feedback, they've chosen to launch the Hector 7 seater without the option of an automatic gearbox. Possibly a major boo boo

This car looks good in black colour. A decent option but nothing exciting. A diesel automatic is sorely missed. Especially when the Harrier got one. By the way, what do Bhpians feel about the pricing?
