At 76.70 lakhs. Damn good pricing by MB India I think.
That's a lot of car for that amount of money. Remains to be seen if it has all the options ticked as the CBU had or if it misses out on some features.

Excited for how the other AMG models will play out.

Mercedes invests Rs. 400 crore for localization of models

Mercedes-Benz has invested Rs. 400 crore in India to localize its models. The fresh investment has been used to configure the production lines for local production of AMG models. The carmaker's total investment now stands at Rs. 2,600 crore.

Earlier this week, Mercedes launched the AMG GLC 43 Coupe - the first locally assembled AMG model in India. With this, the carmaker now has 11 models in its portfolio that are built in India, while the rest are imported as completely built units (CBU).

The carmaker has stated that the decision to localize a model is taken based on the potential of the vehicle to do well in a particular market. Local manufacturing also brings down its cost by over 20%.

The Mercedes-Benz factory has an annual production capacity of 20,000 units. In the first 9 months of 2020, Mercedes has sold 5,007 cars. Last year, the carmaker's annual sales were over 13,000 units.
