Spotted Kushaq being tested in Coimbatore(If you throw a stone in road here, It has high chances it will land on a VAG car owner here).

There was three cars likely in 1.0 MT, 1.0 AT and 1.5 DSG variants.

I agree. In sports terms, they are peaking too early if the timeline for deliveries is going to be from July. A lot of customers will lose interest, not to mention the wasted expenditure on marketing for almost 6 months prior to launch. Volkswagen is calling 2021 the year of the Taigun when it looks like Taigun deliveries will start 2-3 months after Kushaq, so basically end of the year.

Look forward to the launch and pricing in particular. This looks like a promising mass market product made for India and I have a colleague who's smitten by the looks of the concept Vision In. He's looking forward to how the road legal version shapes up before upgrading to the same from his Rapid.

The india launch along with the pricing is supposed to happen later, I think April, and then deliveries from June. A new marketing strategy to have many different events to just launch a car - media drive, global unveil, india launch. Hope they will meet the delivery timelines as many people would be postponing the purchase for this.

Based on the wheelbase, the interior space would not be an issue. I am eagerly waiting to see how the boot space is compared to competition, and the driving experience of 1.5 DSG.

The global launch of the car is basically an unveiling of the car for the world. The car will be launched in India first and then later in other countries. The Mar 18th Launch will be a revealing of the car for all markets, Including India. I don't expect the price details to be revealed then and may only be revealed in May after which the bookings would open for deliveries starting June-July.
India would be the first country to get this car - this is the first car to be designed for India and heavily localised under the India 2.0 strategy of the Skoda-VW Group.

Agree. At the same time, I hope the new platform for india and localization would not affect the quality we expect from Skoda. The quality control they have while sourcing/ manufacturing the parts locally holds key. As it is a new car designed and manufactured for India, it would be wise to wait for sometime for them to sort out the initial niggles.
