Cars manufactured between November 4, 2019 and February 25, 2020 have been recalled along with a few vehicles in which the headlamp has already been replaced.

Owners of the vehicles that come under the recall campaign will be contacted by Maruti Suzuki dealers. The issue will be resolved without any additional cost to the customer.

Customers can also check if their vehicle is among those recalled by entering the vehicle's chassis number (MA3 followed by 14 digit alpha-numeric number) on this website.

This should be the most unexpected recall on the most unexpected vehicle in the history of recalls

Jokes aside- Are there really any implications of a missing *standard symbol*?

I cannot really believe that the regulatory symbol is "Missed", there are checks during homologation by Maruti Suzuki and supplier ensures his compliance which is basic.

IMHO -This may very well be due to sheer negligence and that they might get away with this..

Well if there was no refresh and change in the design of lights, it might have been due to lack of strict quality control audit while the supplier changes his moulds after the previous one had worn out.
