Good job Tata Motors :Cheering:

I am wondering how long Maruti will be hiding behind minimum regulatory requirement disregarding safety :deadhorse

All this is great but don’t these cars compete in different segments?

The ad is witty yet it seems like Tata is trying too hard.

Isn’t this more like Comparing say Seltos & Endeavour (as they’re in different segments)?

Brilliant burn! I hope this culminates into how Pepsi and Coca Cola used to have ad wars in the 90s.

Tata does just the right numbers & has just the right market share, positioning & brand, to make Safety as their Unique Selling Point to stay relevant as a large auto maker. They even ran advts about how solidly built the Safari Storme was, but back then they didn't have the confidence to go all out as they do now with safety ratings to show-off.

Brilliant job by Tata Motors to create awareness regarding safety. They are manufacturing safe cars and now their marketing/advertisement team is also playing its part with these kind of advertisements.

My recent visit to Tata Motors showroom to help my friend on a test drive of Tata Nexon just keeps changing my view on Nexon, in a positive way. The interiors are improving every year on Nexon I believe. I assume there have been several facelifts in small/large way from the time of launch. I may be wrong. However I like their agile model if that's true. Also the various news I read where the Nexon in unforeseen situations have kept the passengers safe. Thank you TATA for keeping Safety as a priority

That's brilliant!!! Now Tata, get your QC game up (you're getting there I guess) and it'd be a coup! Honestly, I still do not understand how the Swift sells so well even though there are safer alternatives that don't break easily (in Tata's language lol).

The engine is definitely better, but the Swift is overpriced IMO. I'd choose for lesser of that 'fun' aspect of driving if safety were at stake for sure.

I wasn't impressed when I read the title since I felt Tata is generally above directly attacking its adversaries. However, after looking at the ad I am impressed by the tongue-in-cheek nature of the ad. I must say their marketing team did score one here.

Tata Nexon: Safe while not being such an...(lol:)

Though the ad was really witty and Kudos to the creative team at TATA for making such a great advertisement, as pointed out the fact that people at times just buy a car because maybe the FE is much higher and the price tag is easier on the pocket, an abundance of shit body structure cars have been introduced.

The makers too are cashing in on this sentiments of the buyer. Apart from VW or the entire VAG line up of cars and maybe TATA , I don't find any modern manufacturer putting too much thought on body structure and strength

Not exactly, The S-Presso is pretty much comparable with the Tiago as prices of different variants of the two cars do match. We got the Spresso top variant when we could get the XM variant for the same price. The Tiago's variant spread is so large that it gets into the territory of Wagon-Rs and Ignis.

Coming to the original topic, I did imagine this happening in future and happy to see Tata taking full advantage of it. Witty ! clap:

Technically, the S-Presso is a segment lower than the Tiago, but still a great witty ad.

Must hand it to Tata's marketing team, this cracked me up and how. lol:

I LOVE this new Tata Motors! Just wish they come up with a better NA petrol engine. that’s the weakest link in their armour and if they sort that piece out, they can well nigh become a serious competitor to the duopoly of Maruti and Hyundai.

This is as good as the Tata advt. It made me laugh real hard! Well done to you too clap:.

I come from the 'kitna deti hai' school of thought, and always felt that Tata cars were horrible. But off late, noticed that my herd is rapidly shrinking, whenever I suggest Maruti to a friend or relative, they just give it a pass citing poor safety. And should admit that Tata have quite a few likable models in their stable now.

Such sharp ad campaigns and social media IMHO make a strong impact in changing buyer mindsets, well done Tata marketing team for their effort.

As a customer hope to get even better cars from either manufacturers out of this rivalry.please:

Loving it. It was the i20 a few weeks back and now this. Tata motors are getting fierce and competitive and are on with their combat gear. Bold stuff.
