Hi,

Dzire had few odd colours

1. Pacific Blue*, when 2nd generation was launched
2. Facelift in 2015 had the another light blue colour**.

Both colours were different from the already available colours.

Nope, these were cabs that used to belong to a company called "Yellow Express."

Apparently, the whole thing turned out to be a massive scam. You can read about it here.

They had fleets of Yellow VW Ameos and Nissan Micras.

By now most of the rare colors have been shared. Some of the ones I felt left out were :

1. The Toyota twins that came in the blue shade.

Can't remember the exact name for this shade of the Fiesta, but it surely looks unique on the roads.

Took me back the memory lane when my dad booked a maruti 800 in 2000 and i vividly remember the color scheme which was metallic California gold.

Fortunately / unfortunately we have to settle for the white coloured 800, cause the waiting time for gold coloured car was a bit high.

The rare Caffiene brown S-Cross. This is the only other brown in Maruti's lineup after 2010 Wagon-R in Baker's Chocolate Brown

The cappuccino beige Fabia. Quite an attractive colour, there were many owners that chose this color.

The light blue Ertiga, the company advertised in print and digital media. Quite a rare colour to spot on roads, was discontinued on facelift I think.

The Cappuccino Beige is still available till date on the Rapid. Even the Octavia, Laura and Yeti had it.

But what I truly hate Skoda for is this -

Notice the difference? I'm surprised nobody sued Skoda for misleading people.

Absolutely; the thread totally lost the plot few posts down the line.

The earliest cars with unique eye catching colors have to be the Daewoo Matiz , The original Zen and Daewoo Cielo and even the Mitsuibishi Lancer.

Looks like every colour on every car from every manufacturer is going to be on this thread. (Different shades of white, black and silver anyone? Honda offered a "Orchid White" with 4th gen city!).

What's exactly the purpose of this thread?
