hey guys,

i saw a coupla skoda fabias during a recent trip to Mysore. The blue one was in a pretty shape.. lots of dents and scratches. It might have gone through a very "rigorous" testing. The black one looked much newer and also looked like it was of a higher trim. The blue fabia had steel wheels with full wheel covers whereas the black one had alloys. Cudnt take a pics of the front part of either car.

Doesn't look all that bigger from the Swift!
(Last pic, see the indica/indigo next to it)

Interiors look promising! Nice colours on the dash!

So its going to get launched in october. For a car who's specifications are not out could be very interesting. They should start to advertise about the car. That would grap peoples attention like CBZ Extreme.

Those dotted things on the bumper are the reverse sensors (like the way they are found on the Laura). Looks like they'll gadgetize the Fabia.

If thats the case I sincerely hope they'll have a variant with the works - sun roof, 6 speed tiptronic auto, 6 air bags, ABS & EBD, integrated music system, climate control aircon, and of course Leather interiors - and all this kept under 7 Lacs OTR!!

You listening Santa Claus??

Just saw a Fabia here in pune, near ARAI. I stay close to ARAI, and as a general trend, cars that i spot here get launched in about 2-3 months. So maybe the Fabia is up for a launch in November. Thats diwali season, good launch timing IMO.

How about asking Santa Claus for an RS version at same price?

What bare the chances that Skoda will launch a loaded Fabia? The trend in India has been to not load much the small/hatchbacks. I feel this is stupid as thee are a number of people [my brother for instance] who would be more than willing to pay a premium price for the gadgets and features of a loaded car but will never buy anything bigger than a hatchback.

Hope Skoda gets it right this time with the DSG box etc.
