Re: Jeep Compass Facelift unveiled

Wow. After seeing all these pictures I find the update a little underwhelming. For the price increase that Jeep wants to get away with, the interior and exterior have little to show!

Also why do ventilated seats have to be on the top variant? Surely they are more practical than a panoramic sunroof and deserve to be in the low and mid variants too!

By any chance is this PPS Hosur road, i visited their JP nagar showroom and saw white one. As I saw from outside due to crowd, no idea on the variant.

Have to check black in flesh, partly visible in the picture.

Yes, this is at PPS Hosur road. I saw the new galaxy blue as well, it looks better in person than in pics.

Does anyone know if the new compass has ambient lighting?

The S variant does based on updates from reviewers.

No ambient lighting, the motoroid's review mentions that.

The brochures and early on updates state there are diffused footlights. Nothing on the dash though.

Re: Jeep Compass Facelift unveiled

It’s been a while I instantly fell in love with a car at first sight. The 80th anniversary edition Jeep Compass . WOW. White compass with blacked out roof, alloys, grille, cladding and interiors is just perfect. Couldn’t stop staring at it. The interiors were great as well (head room was a bit tight for my 6’2 figure and rear seat is a bit cramped).

Arghh, the price tag . If only the people at the helm understood the Indian market better, I would have one in my driveway (in the exact same spec). Although the S has more features, the special edition is really special looking. I never was a fan of the pre-facelift one, but this one is fabulous. I can’t stop praising this pure white compass. The pre-facelift had a weird yellowish white. 32.8L for the limited 4x4AT and 34.60L for the S. No Jeep, you got it wrong. I’m not sure what your strategy in India is. I’m surprised you guys aren’t aiming for volumes. Lovely car let down by pricing.

Re: Jeep Compass Facelift unveiled

Anyone seen the 'S' in showrooms yet? In Mumbai it seems they there is some UConnect software update pending because of which the car is still stuck in the workshop and not kept in the showroom till now. The only vehciles available in the showroom are the anniversary editions.

Why do we need ambient lighting? I have one in my car since 2015 and I have never used it. May be for 10 hours in total. It is almost permanently switched off. Huge distraction during night drives. You won't notice it during day time. So basically, it is a waste of 5 LED strips. Right ?

Re: Jeep Compass Facelift unveiled

Going in for the 1.4 P , Manual base model.

The other competitor was Creta turbo petrol.

After driving the Creta/Seltos the Compass seems so much mature, ride, handling and feel wise. Even if it lacks a ton of features and is practically bare bones, I prefer to start my car with a key not a button.

A darker shade of grey would have been nicer.

Congrats on your new ride

Did the dealership confirm when the car can be delivered?
