It maybe just me, but it seems the new Brezza has more than a hint of the facelifted Tata Nexon in it. Atleast the front end does.

I really want to see what Toyota can do with this front end, because the Brezza's looks uninspiring. It still will probably light up the sales charts, just look at the Hyundai Creta with its hideous front end.

However, a better grille and front bumper design can still salvage this to some extent. The rear definitely looks good.

Looking at the pictures felt the exact same thing. Either it's too much plastic or overdone chrome in most of these new cars. BTW can we body colour those plastic bits ?

Yeah surely! But unlike the Tiguan the AC will chill at 46 degrees and you will get a consistent mileage between 15~20kmpl. So much for the European comparison.

Yes indeed good for Maruti to look around to global leaders for design philosophies and building further on their strengths of chill ACs and great mileages.

Have they though? It is indeed copied/inspired from a lot of cars but except maybe the headlights I do not see a similarity with the Tiguan.
I for one would have loved if it did copy from Tiguan design, except the rear end of Tiguan, which is too tacky to be a VW, imho

No hate at all. It is good thing for market leader to come back with all guns blazing and achieve what was lost. Possibly as rumours say a 5 star product too. So this is a great thing.

In my opinion, these 'inspirations' and 'copies' are all efforts to stay in tune with current trends in motor-world. Most modern cars/SUVs now have slim tail lights, smaller headlights due to LED projectors, high mounted AVN display on dashboard etc ... nothing wrong with it.

I always had a problem with the name Vitara 'Brezza', now its there right in the center :(

The rear looks sweet and modern, the front not so much. The black bits on the bumper and the side cladding are a bit too much and could have been done better. Maybe the higher variants would come with some body coloured bits and lend a better look overall.

Any news on the interiors?

SmartPlay Pro+, rear AC vent, paddle shifters on AT,360 cam is pretty much confirmed. HUD should also be there given it is also there in new baleno.
Hoping against hope for ventilated seats but very slim chance it would be there.
