I hear admissions are now open, Indrojit, with their first intake is coming up soon. The DC Design website has an enquiry form, why not fill it up if you are interested in enrollment?

i am not a fan of DC only because he simply ruins each and every car he touches. he has no sense of styling and creates a disaster each and every time. now a college, i don't know what will happen to these poor students who will learn some of his horrible designs.

but the good part is, he has taken the initiative and has started the institute. if some proper professors/designers are appointed these students will get some of the best lessons ever.

i'm not hurting anyone's sentiments here, this is my personal opinion.

Any guesses on its fees ??
DSK's Auto Design College in Pune has yearly fees of something around 3.5L.

For those who are interested in Automobile design, have a look at Institut Superieur de Design (ISD) that opened in Pune last year.It is a Globally recognized French school. It's main branch is in Valenciennes – France that was formulated in the year 1987. ISD offers courses with specialization in Product Design, Transport Design and Digital Design through a 5 year programme.

I had seen 1 of his design's on a padmini. He didnt modify it much, just gave it a nre colour & wheels i think. Looked pretty neat.
I guess he is not too bad. But thats just my opinion.

It is a great idea if he uses his experience to teach 'how to design a car'.
But does not teach his own design ideas on students.

I think that many talented designers will emerge from his school, and auto industry sorely needs them as there are hardly any truly beautiful cars.

What would be better is a DC institue of interior design. His car interiors are way better than the exteriors! Having said that it's a good step for the auto industry in India.
