Thanks guys for sharing pics.
It is good to see that Taigun GT version is also part of Media Drive. Let's hope it is launched with other versions with price details. This would also give us an idea about ( possibly ) upcoming Kushaq Monte Carlo or L&K version pricing.

Very interesting things going on with VW. Seems like they're going to offer 3 different wheels for 3 different specifications. I personally like the Silver car more, the yellow one with those huge wheels is definitely not to my liking and the Red one looks severely under-tyred to me.

1.5 GT: Yellow car w/ multi-spoke diamond cut(?)
1.5 TSI: Silver car w/ 5-Spoke curved design
1.0 TSI: Red car w/ Polo/Vento wheels

Wow!! Both, Taigun and Kushaq look stunning in Silver color scheme. The GT variant somehow is not giving the "GT" vibes the way Polo GT does it. There should have been some black elements on the lower portion of the front grill, black alloys and black OVRMs.

Thanks, The car looks short, hence sturdy with low CG, assures a firm grip. Expecting suspensions to be tight to give the sporty ride :D

Any idea if 1.5 TSI DQ200 combination would be offered in NON-GT variants?

The million dollar question

“ Would the automatic versions be available with 6 airbags ? “
When will Information on that be available ?

Intrigued to see dollops of chrome on a so called 'GT' variant. Should have been termed CT instead to signify chrome trim!

The alloys look undersized, should have been an inch or two more. I do not feel this has what is needed. The SK twins would sell double/ triple the numbers of these two combined, I think.

The market associates Chrome to Premium-ness,
And Non-Chrome To Cheap-Ness. :D

VW is simply giving what the market wants!

Anyways, for Chrome Haters, there is always the option of Chrome-Delete/Masking etc.

The one in silver looks like a typical VW. I guess the variant wise features maybe different from the Kushaq. Three different alloy wheel design, maybe some customization for customers?

Eagerly awaiting the full reveal of features and prices. I'm more or less certain I'm going to buy the 1.5 liter DSG version.

I need to replace a 9 year old Duster that has been great to own but is now having few breakdowns and has done over 1.20 lakh KM.

I really hope they have the fully digital cockpit in the top end spec along with some other funky tech.

In terms of looks alone, the taigun looks better to me than Kushaq!

This is already confirmed on VW website and for sure be part of the top end spec.

"20.32 cm Digital Cockpit"

Immediate business opportunity for a chrome delete package. The photo showing the front view of the yellow car, got me looking for my sunglasses.

Between the Kushaq and the Taigun, I prefer the Taigun design.

Also this trend of having the insides of an alloy wheel painted black does not appeal to me one bit. I'd take the plain silver wheels any day.

If i work backwards, 22 lakhs implies ex-showroom price of 18.5 for the top end. To put it in perspective, TROC was 19.9 lakhs ex-showroom last year. Taigun is comparable to Tcross which is a level below Troc. By having a sub standard configuration for 1.5 DSG Kushaq (no 6 airbags, no tpms etc), they have ensured this set of buyers will opt for VW over Kushaq for the the top end model and hence see potential for profit maximization in this sub product. I would say leaving out 6 airbags was a well thought out move, i dont expect smart folks to miss what we all think is obvious for their once in a decade product....

TROC is a CBU - not to forget!

Anyways, VW/Skoda seem to worry more about internal positioning & internal competition than external? Strange are the ways.

Wow! The car looks stunning, except the chrome overload.
Another car worth the wait. Festive season will have good entrants in this segment - Taigun, XUV700, Seltos Gravity/Sportage (??), Kushaq AT with 6 airbags (???)

Few worries with Taigun (else it would be my First choice)
- Can we get rid off the Chrome, at least around the front & headlights?
- will the AT have 6 airbags?
- will cabin quality be typical VAG car and not like Kushaq?
- Pricing?

I've owned Vento 1.2 TSI DSG for last 6 years and I can live with Volkswagen Service, than sub-par build quality of other brands.
Eagerly waiting for Next Monday for the TeamBHP reviews from the media drive.

That Silver Taigun looks really good IMO and personally I would choose this over the Kushaq when it comes to looks. Looks like a baby Tiguan and I am sure the next door non enthusiast neighbour cant easily differentiate between a Taigun, T-Roc and a Tiguan unless they are parked side by side :D

But as it went with the Kushaq, we can expect an out of the roof pricing especially for the top of the line variant which is disappointing for people like me who wished an aggressive price at least at launch. I hope the premium above Kushaq variant to variant would be sensible with respect to the additional features on offer, like digital instrument cluster etc and not just a premium of over-confidence.
