I think the European brands like Skoda and Volkswagen will stick to their DNA, which does include build quality, I am sure they would have had to cut corners when trying to bring in a mass market product but I strongly feel they would have not done this on structural rigidity aspect.

Kia and Hyundai gave us a lot of features and it is a tempting product but I am staying away from Kia only because of NCAP ratings.

Harsh truth is people don't take safety so seriously and it is evident from the high selling numbers of seltos & even creta for that matter.

During my visits to the showroom, me and my cousin found the build quality of Kushaq better than seltos, lets hope they crash test European twins soon and put an end to speculations.

This color coded stuff on the dashboard, appeared first on the VW Up! & subsequently made it's way to various other VW offerings.
Even the New Gen Polo has it.

I can't imagine, how this will look in white color.

I really hope so. This as per me, this perhaps could be the ONLY reason they kept doing this hustle hustle business. Looks garish and would be terribly hard to keep clean without prints and scratches.

May not be too clear in the pictures but I dare say the plastic quality seems better. But then again that's just an assumption I am making seeing these pictures.

Quite unfortunate that we are getting the lower end 8 inch Digital dash instead of the full fat 10 inch digital cluster. Lets hope it can be retrofitted.

I had the same feeling when I saw the pic. But VW website still says ‘ 25.6 cm Touchscreen Infotainment with VW Play’. So it’s possible that it’s the 10 inch unit with custom view in the pic.

25.6cm is for the infotainment display, not the digital cockpit.

The digital cockpit is 20.32 cm.

VW is cost-cutting every corner. Let's hope they price it right!

Sorry my bad. I got convinced myself that’s it’s the same as the one in troc after seeing the Interior pics shared. You are right they have called it out as 20cm which I over looked.

Knowing VAG group they are going to price this on premium.

Taigun gets 2 GT Line trims:- GT with 1.5L TSI and 6 speed manual and the other top spec GT+ with 1.5L TSI and 7 speed DSG.

Digital instrument cluster has an active 8 inch central display the left and right side are blanks. And is only available on the top spec GT+. GT trim gets analogue dials.

Looks like the Taigun GT manual loses out on so many features compared to the DSG.

- Plain silver alloys and not diamond cut type
- No LED headlamps
- No virtual cockpit
- No keyless start/stop

Those looking at the manual have a better option in the Kushaq. And DSG customers can look at Taigun.
