I dont know why this thread is even alive now, we already got the updated polo right? Isn't Taigun/Kushaq are the POLO successors right, although disguised as SUVs.

Nope. The Taigun/Kushaq are based on the MQB A0 IN platform that is a lower cost platform. Others can correct if I am wrong.
But I agree with your point that no point keeping this thread alive as i do not see the new Polo arriving anytime in the coming 2 years due to the current "thinking" by VW group.

Why the (New)Polo may not come to India, as such:
