Volvo S90 sedan removed from website

Volvo has removed the S90 sedan from its Indian website. The recently launched S60 is the only sedan Volvo is selling in India at present.

The S90 was launched in 2016 with just one variant - Inscription. The Momentum variant was introduced in 2018.

The vehicle was powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine, which developed 187 BHP and 400 Nm. It was paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The S90 used to compete with the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and the Jaguar XF.

Such a beautiful, and massively underrated car. It's highly likely that it will return soon, but only with a petrol engine, along with a hybrid option, given that even the new S60 was launched without a diesel variant.

Volvo S90 is back on the Volvo India Website.
Available only in the D4 Inscription variant.

Volvo will launch its new range of petrol mild-hybrid cars in India with the new S90 and XC60 being the first off the block on 19th October.
