Did Maruti hire someone from VW India? Significant updates and no new generation seems to be the trend. Especially with the Baleno, Ciaz, Vitara Brezza, and S-Cross.

The new generation of updates without cosmetic changes are purely targetted at CAFE 2 norms coming in April 2022 I guess.

Yes, there are leaks of 6 speed MT/Auto TQ. Bigger 16 inch tyres along with 6 Airbags and reinforcing their car structure with thicker use of body sheet. It seems they are refreshing their proven, cost-effective but old specs.

The front image given here is that of the current Ertiga but with a chrome treatment. New one has a different pattern for the grill.

What they need most is either bench seat in XL6 or some missing features like Cruise Control in Ertiga.

Not sure if this is a legit image being circulated. My reasons:

1. Notice the large emblem on RH side of boot, that's the orientation Suzuki XL7 follows.



2. Notice something shiny on the front fender area which again is a VVT badge on Suzuki XL7 abroad.



The XL6 update is coming and if words of local dealership is to be believed, the supply of current XL6 is not happening and the updated one hasn't been billed to them yet. Although they are expecting launch next month.

Good catch. I'm gonna add another reason to the list:

The car behind the XL7 is an Ertiga Sport, which is a Vietnam-specific model. Additionally, these two cars wouldn't be spotted in the same showroom in India, IMO.

You're right. These are definitely not pictures from any dealership in India. It's likely Vietnam (see the surroundings and texts).
