I owned a white Liva TRD for a couple of years. Great car and a lovely engine that 1.5 ltr petrol was. I just wish it’s interior looked as good as the outside of the car. I would have hung on to it for a lot longer that way.

I got to drive Etios Cross, that featured 1.5 petrol from Etios. I can't explain how phenomenal that vehicle was only if it could handle better.

Re: "Limited Edition" cars that were actually worth it

Palio S10 and the Carbon and Steel Zen are the first ones that come to my mind when I think about a good limited. After that, it's the Volkswagen GTI. 192 horses under the small shell of a Polo...it could fly (one of then literally flew in Hyderabad). The differences compared to a normal polo at that time were minimal - 2 doors, GTI badging, different bumper+grill and a 1-99 numbering. Launched at an insane price of 26lakhs and only 99 cars it didn't sell like hot cakes but eventually it was sold out. The people who got it in the end got a sweeter deal than the ones who got it in the beginning.

Only 200-odd are in existence.
If unintentional limited editions count, then Abarth Punto should definitely be included. (You may argue that all Puntos were limited editions, but let's keep that for a different topic )

Re: "Limited Edition" cars that were actually worth it

If VW GTI is a limited edition, then yes absolutely worth it. Or if its only a stickering based limited edition, not much of an issue in services. In case of any unique parts like side skirts spoilers, etc. installed in the limited edition, then we will be in for a toss in case of breakages or repairs.
