Ford Ikon

Year 1999: Ford launched the C195 Ikon which was based on the Fiesta platform. Dimensionally the car was much larger than the Fiesta. Its been almost 5 years and the Ikon being one of the best sellin cars in India, hasnt received any major design changes. Except for a grille-change. Isnt it time for a new Fiesta.....err Sorry.....Ikon???

Year 2004 : Ford has been testing a new variant of the Fiesta in Brazil. And if the new Fiesta is launched in Brazil, it wudnt be long till Ford gets it to India.

Heres the car being tested in Brazil. A huge box was placed on the boot to fool anybody into thinkin it was a Ford MPV being tested.
