While searching the net for the worlds highest motorable pass Marsimek La, i came across this -
http://www.navingulia.com/mmk.htm
I was left speechless, read the whole article
Excellent find Bunny, I wanted to do it last year and people scared me off saying it was too gruelling an effort and mind you I am talking about only Manali to Leh. Hats off to this guy Navin, some guts.
AVE Navin Gulia. Amazing test of man/machine endurance. Would love to do this trip to Marsimek La someday.
Holy s***. Hats off to this guy. Way to go Mr. Navin. You have proved it - Ability is a state of mind.
That's almost a super-humun feat, how many people with intact body can do that!!!
It that a non-DECOR safari?
A minor gripe, the photos seem to be taken using mobile camera, nothing is in focus.
Yes, i have deep respect for this man! His body is paralysed, and still he rode to a place 99.9% of us will never manage!
Hats off to him, way to go, its just amazing what he has done. This shows you need determination more then anything else. I have loads of respect for him, well done :Cheering:
Hats off to Navin. Way to go. Co-incidently, I have a colleague at work whose name is Navin and he lost his legs while serving the Indian Navy. I showed him this article and he felt quite nice about it.
What A fantastic effort. Unimmaginable. Hats off.
BunnyPunia: Can you provide a link to the NDTV website for the online version of this telecast? I am interested in it as I am planning to do Khardung/Marsimek La this year with a bunch of colleagues.
Got his contact number, smsed him too.
this article will also keep quite those who think the earlier 2.0 Safari was underpowered and was a pain in the hills.
Seriously this is one awesome trip & kudos to Navin for pulling it off :)
Awesome Trip and hats of to that Guy....also well written as well...
Abhi
Well done Navin. Hats off :)
And I crib about driving in Pune. Hats off to the extra ordinary man!
