Its cars for me too, but I have to agree with Rtech that no car can match a bike for sheer thrill and fun.

Well it depends on the Car/Bike in question.. As in if you have an indian bike(except the bullets and RD) and a car, then i'd go for the car but else it'l always be bikes..
If I have a budget of 6-7 lks, i'd surely go for a bike and not a car for that price..

i vote for the cars as they provide more safety, which is most important in India.
That does not mean i would say a NO if offered a CBR or an R1 bikes are cool in their own way

Add SUV's or Trucks to the list.. And it gets my vote..

I voted for bikes.. As personally i love the feeling of wind going through my flowing hair.. Takes me back to my bachelor days..

But now, since i am married and recently became a father of a 3-weeks old boy.. I am inclining more towards SUV's and real-Trucks.. Just to get that secured feeling.. No plain-jane sedans or toyish hatches for me..

Gears,
Manish.

as of right now i'm desperately waiting to get my hands on a superbike ( as i can't afford a supercar for sure that would give me similar performance ), but by the end of it i'm a car guy .

10 years ago, I would have voted bike without a second thought. Today, my thrills needs to be comfortable as well.

A car it is for me!

like hrag , few years ago I would have voted bike as well.....
so I might be voting for the car now, but I love bikes as well...(I still do ride one to work each day :-) to beat the traffic nothing like it......)

Its difficult to compare though....faced with mundane cars Vs a Fireblade/996/R1 I would take the bike everytime...but if I had great roads and a very powerful car , would pick the car...

Can I vote for both? Looks like I can't, so here am I. Posting my vote to both. Bike for those lovely knee scraping twists n' turns in ghats (not that I DO knee scrape) and in terrible Pune traffic. Car for family and for expressway, or even better, on long drive on new 4-lane NH4.

I'll vote for neither. I went for a 'test ride' on the Segway personal transporter last evening and I'm HOOKED. So much fun on two wheels and no gears, accelerators or brakes to worry about........way to go on wheels.

I have a small video of the Segway demo that I shot on my iMate - how do I upload it here?

I voted for cars since the cages ones are more safe in India. But for a D segment car money you could get the feeling of sitting on a missile(Any super bike for that matter) is also very tempting.
