2021 Renault Kwid launched at Rs. 4.07 lakh

Renault has launched the 2021 Kwid in India as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations. The hatchback is available in RXE, RXL, RXT and Climber trims and prices start at Rs. 4,06,500 (ex-showroom).

The 2021 Kwid is offered with petrol engine options. These include a 799cc, 3-cylinder engine that produces 53 BHP and 72 Nm and a 999cc, 3-cylinder unit that makes 67 BHP and 91 Nm. While a 5-speed manual transmission is available as standard, the 1.0L version gets an optional 5-speed AMT.

The Kwid Climber is available in a dual-tone exterior in white with a black roof. It gets features like electric ORVM, day and night IRVM, driver side pyrotech and pretensioner, amongst other safety features. The Climber variant is only available with the 1.0-litre engine with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT.

As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, Renault has announced special offers on the Kwid. The carmaker is offering benefits of up to Rs. 80,000 on select variants. Besides, there are 10 unique Loyalty Rewards with maximum loyalty benefits of up to Rs. 1.10 lakh which is over and above the regular consumer offers.

We had this car (RXT 1.0 MT-O) for about 4 years. A surprisingly spacious, well behaved on bad roads and comfortable (for that money) car.
The boot is humongous too. In general it felt vastly superior to Alto.
If it wasn't for Renault's dodgy after sales experience this is an easy pick.

Thats almost 2 lakhs off on a 4 lakh car!!

Amazing deal for someone looking at a used 3 lakh budget.

Renault India has silently updated its small car Kwid.
The Kwid Climber model now comes with rear power windows and internally adjustable ORVMS.
