Being a Ford owner myself, I would believe their Mustang story only after they deliver an actual car to the customer.

^^ To sell Mustang / Mach E's they will retain one showroom in each metro city (best case!). I'm happy the dealers are able to make new deals so fast and keep their business going.

Ford India has quickly turned into a riches to rags story
Yesterday I passed by the showroom I'd booked my Ford freestyle from- it showed an unusual lack of upkeep- even the blue oval Ford sign at the entrance had fallen away, leaving behind an oval discoloured patch
The showroom has taken to selling pre-owned cars, with Espresso standing where once a mighty endeavour stood. In sharp contrast is the Kia showroom, right next door- owned by the same management, all glittering to invite new customers for the festive season.

If you have seen September wholesale report, Ford dispatched zero cars to dealers in September. It means that Ford was sitting at zero inventory by August end. It cannot happen unless management, factory employees, sales employees and dealers were aware of the actual situation or were at least informally informed about it.

I am (or perhaps was) a super happy Ford Owner. Owning my Figo DCT has been a breeze and maintaining it at the A.S.S was cheaper than maintaining my Vespa on most occasions. It's a pity that Ford has closed operations in the country. The showroom from where my car was bought, has shut down. Service center is still open (for now) and I don't know how long that will last.

Like most Ford owners, I have decided to keep the car as long as it lasts.

My dream of owning a new Endy remains a dream now.

No one except Ford themselves and their stupid management contributed to this! Had they updated the Ecosport, introduced new products and not killed the Figo, they would still be here and kicking!

I sometimes think that the Ecosport and 1st gen Figo deserved a carmaker like Maruti or Hyundai who atleast know how to keep a popular product on top of the customer's preference lists!

Was on my way from Vijayawada to Tirupati last weekend. Saw a Ford showroom enroute at Nellore and one at Tirupati and both are deserted and locked with some kind of notice/paper pasted on the entrance gate.

Don't know how will the current Ford car owners in the respective locations get their vehicles serviced in such scenarios.

My first problem has arisen probably due to closure of the dealership from where I got my endeavour, I took delivery on that very day and have still not received my RC. Does the RC reach the dealership or gets delivered to the owner directly?

I wonder who might even remain to sell me extended warranty now which I have seen been recommended here time and time again :|.

In KA at least, the RTO sends it directly to the owner's address by Speed Post.

So the dealership has not “closed” yet. The RC is available with them and I will be collecting it.

You can get extended warranty from FASS (Ford Authorized Service Center), they can arrange it for you. So, if in worst case Ford showroom is closing, nothing to worry on warranty part, be assured.
