The Kia Pacento looks very much like the Santro Xing from the rear. The front also looks similar especially the bonnet and the windshield. Also it uses the same 1.1 litre engine from the Xing. So will Hyundai replace the Xing with the Pacento???

It all looks the same except maybe some part of the front end is different... Trust Hyundai to make an ugly car even more uglier

Cheers

Hyundai will surely bring this one day as limited version or something like that , with few extra trays and may be preity's daughter and sharukhans son to promote the models. I mean to say that like maruti (800) they not going leave this santro soon !!!!

amen to that rev, why doesnt sm1 blow up the Hyundai design studio?? first it was the santro, then came the accent, and then the jag-lookalike sonata.......jag-lookalike, can u believe that?? maybe we cud send this to the guys @ jag, they'll personally see to it that hyundai is blown to bits.

but then again, it's a very sad fact that there'll be a whole lot of Indians who go out and buy these cars. And thats why Hyundai keeps makin that.

Saying all that, theZen is past sell by date, Matiz is non existent, Fiat have their own probs, Indica's are too crude so the only car in that segment worth loooking at is the .Santro

I agree, there are many reasons why the Hyundai Santro has sold, despite its ugly looks. After sales service, low cost of ownership, good fuel efficiency, adequate power, great interior space, Hyundai backing, excellent build quality, strong resale values...the list goes on and on.

For me, the only thing against the Santro is the looks factor.

As GTO said Hyundai gives what the market needs . Hyundai also responds to the market needs in a short time.

it looks like a beefier version of the Xing.

And ya Hyundais success in India is mainly bcos of its After Sales Service, good resale and fuel efficiency.

P.S. Did we forget to mention the vacations abroad?
