Why can't we get this in normal colors? Why are they assuming that only the people who like gold colour need ventilated seats and wireless chargers? I guess at least the exterior gold-colored parts can be wrapped.

Finally an expensive car with ventilated seats in the back seat as well. I have always felt that feature makes the most sense on long highway drives in the summer, and rear passengers would love it.

Ventilated 2nd row seats is a segment first and a very welcome addition!

While the usage of gold appears minimal/tasteful, I am not too sure about a gold front grill. Have to see this in the flesh to see if they've been able to pull it off. Also the black colour car comes with white seats? Might look odd IMO

Those feature additions are a necessary ace in the hole by Tata here. A car in this range should atleast get front row Ventilated Seats, Tata has done well by providing them for the middle row as well.

Now it remains to be seen as to when they introduce these features to the normal & Adventure Persona variants because the gold inserts, especially in the interior, aren't pleasing for me personally.

These feature additions gives me confidence that Tata might improve on the infotainment system as well with a new update in coming months. Kudos to the company on listening to the wants of the market.

The new Safari edition will make its first public appearance at the VIVO IPL 2021 in Dubai. Furthermore, Tata Motors has introduced the ‘Safari Gold Hit Challenge’ in this season. For the same, every time a batsman hits a six and the ball lands on either the car or the car display podium or the Safari #Gold LED commercial board, Tata Motors will contribute an amount of ₹2 lakhs to The Akshaya Patra Foundation, an NGO fighting for Covid-19 victims.

That dashboard looks straight out of a hotel lobby. White marble and black and gold marble textures! Too bad because the feature addition, especially ventilated seats, is good.

Should have been named TATA Safari Bling edition.

Agreed - while the use of gold outside is minimal, can even call it tasteful, but the interior especially the white + gold combination reminds me of certain advertisements by bathroom tile manufactures

This is a Safari?
Might as well brand it Gauche. It absolutely screams Guntha Mantri. I can totally see it driven by a pan masala spitting, ray ban wearing, driver who also sports more gold jewellery (think necklace and rings on all fingers) than any rich woman.

Hope this is a limited version and the Tata design department does a course correction.

Woah! Seems like the XUV7OO shook Tata up a bit. Finally, now I have an option to fit ventilated front seats in my Harrier.

But 2nd row ventilated seats & wireless Android Auto & Apple Carplay actually makes me consider trading in my Harrier for a Safari (again, just a thought. But we all know what our BHPians' thoughts result into )

After Chrome Overdose, I hope Junta doesn't take to Gold Overdose, Next we will have cars being sold in Gold + Chrome Edition. Looks gaudy, only upside it is easy to reverse it just like the overdone Chrome on all cars, just an overhead expense.

Nice features though, guess should be coming to Harrier soon too, good tata is keeping the car updated.

Even with Pratap, the insides have never been the best. There have been multiple ergonomic issues with respect to visibility, left leg hitting the center console.

However I must admit, these Gold edition faux granite look is just terribly ugly in my opinion.

This is great! Yes, it's not for everyone and I won't go for this much "bling". But this is just creating more spread and options in Safari and might even encourage some new segment customers.

I like the treatment both inside and outside. It's got a more upmarket feel without overdoing it. Especially, the center console island looks great on the contrasting colour and material. I wonder what the finish feels like though in person. I might pop-in to the showroom just to get a feel...

I'm sorry guys, except the twin rows of ventilated seats, this looks like an aftermarket gaudy job in a bid to increase the luxury quotient, but one which ends up looking like a disaster.
Rather than this distasteful gold accent job, Tata could have given a bigger and better quality infotainment system from Harman. The visteon unit has multiple complaints strewn over TBHP.

Seems like someone at TaMo felt that the looks of the car didn't justify the price charged and then thought -- why not copy the Rolls' dash gallery, and came up with this grotesque abomination.
