Hyundai 1st gen Verna was a flop, but the fluidic Verna was reasonably successful.

The first-gen Verna wasn't a market flop. It used to sell in decent numbers even in the presence of strong contenders like Honda City and Ford Fiesta. If memory serves me right, the Verna and Accent together used to fetch a sales figure of 3500+ units every month during 2008-09 period. These figures weren't poor back then.
