Skoda has made some changes to the 2022 Octavia and Superb. These mainly include feature additions and a revised colour palette.

2022 Skoda Octavia

The updated Octavia gets an anti-theft alarm with interior monitoring as standard. Both the Style and L&K variants get this safety feature.

The Octavia is available in five colour options - Candy White, Magic Black, Lava Blue, Brilliant Silver and a new Graphite Grey shade. On the inside, Suedia beige leather upholstery is available in both variants.

The Octavia uses a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit that makes 187 BHP @ 4,180-6,000 rpm and 320 Nm @ 1,500-3,990 rpm. It is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

2022 Skoda Superb

The Superb is available in two variants - SportLine and L&K. The latter gets Cognac leather interior and driver seat with massage function. The SportLine variant comes with black Alcantara upholstery.

The Superb is available in seven colour options - Moon White, Lava Blue, Magic Black, Race Blue, Steel Grey and two new shades of Graphite Grey and Brilliant Silver.

The Superb is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 188 BHP and 320 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Woah! Massaged seats for the driver is such a tempting addition! And I believe Cognac leather interiors is also a new addition.

Can't wait to see myself in a white Superb with Cognac interiors next year!

This bomb couldn't have dropped at a better or worse time for me.

Skoda will bump Octavia prices by atleast RS 30,000 - 50,000 /- exshowroom for the MY22 model.

Anti-theft alarm with interior monitoring as standard is the only addition. Newer MY22 model might not be discounted sooner.

If one needs to consider current model MY21 with discounts vs MY22 no discount which one would you pick?

Personally if the price difference is 1 lakh or more (including discount) and anti theft alarm is the only difference then I might have gone for MY21 model. Anything below that MY21 doesnt seem worth for me considering MY22 will be a newer model. In a place like Bangalore and with secured parking I have never felt the need of anti-theft alarm, but not sure in other cities.

Does this device qualify for ARAI approved anti theft protection? Why this question as it might effect insurance premiums.

Wow, I'm okay with not having Massage Seats but Cognac Interiors are lovely. It just so happens that my MY21 Superb reached Hyderabad from the plant today

Awesome. Hoping to see your thread sooner. Massage on back seats would have totally made sense to consider to pay that extra vitamin M. It's surely a good buy for next year when discounts kick in around March -April.

Me and my younger one were echoing the same thought on Cognac Interiors, what a lovely color.

Skoda taking an leaf out of Mercedes book - add a few features and jack-up the price.

The Cognac seats look great - hopefully it will make its way to Kodiaq too.

It seems the coffee brown interior isn't available now.

UK configurator has images. Looks nice with the black headliner. Although they had an option of beige headliner as well. I just hope they haven't sent those kits for India. The trim is L&K 190 ps TSI DSG.
