Almost peanuts, FORD reportedly spent a Billion USD, and at today's exchange rate, they are not getting even one-tenth.

Given how the Auto market has changed in the past two years, it's one of the biggest blunders FORD has made, in my opinion. They needed an innovative strategic thinker, a veteran of the Indian industry, and things could have been different for them as well as us customers. Sad.

I've never heard of any good reason for that BILLION $ White Elephant. It was bewildering how the Detroit HQ signed off on it.

Considering GM's challenges in getting rid of their plant, Ford seems to have got a better deal actually.

Since TPEML has signed the MoU, only the EV will be manufactured here? Is there any news on when it will be become functional, and start manufacturing Tata cars?

Tata Motors has announced that its subsidiary Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd (TPEML) will complete its acquisition of Ford India's manufacturing plant in Sanand, Gujarat, on January 10, 2023.

My eyes were implicitly looking for the blue oval all over the video for some reason.

I really hope to see the quality/consistency issues minimised in the batch of cars rolling out of this facility.
