I am planning to buy an Aveo 1.6 LT or a NHC GXi/EXi. Should i wait for the new variant? and for how long ? Or should i buy it now ?

Saw a car which looked uncannily similar to the NHC-ZX in Tokyo - could not see the name though. Not sure about ABS and all, but I guess it must be coming with airbags etc here - either as standard or atleast as option.

Honda City, Honda Fit-Aria all clones. They are sedan version of the hatchback Honda Fit or Jazz.
All ditto, except Indian version doesn't come with ABS/Airbags

The sx4 is a nice car,but the honda city is the segment leader and we don't see it as a long term threat.

Honda showroom staff in baroda say they will launch the car with ABS and Airbags in September/October, after current stocks run out. It will be priced ~20000 higher.

This months ACI has a letter from Honda saying that the news in last months ACI isint true and they dont intend to come with any new model with ABS/Airbags for Rs.20000

I guess all this is to prevent people for waiting for the New City with ABS and hence their current City's wont sell
