Earlier this year, Jeep launched the locally-assembled Wrangler in the Indian market at Rs. 53.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Prior to this, the off-roader was imported as a completely built unit (CBU). The cars affected by the recall are the ones imported via the CBU route.

Owners have been advised to get their vehicles inspected at their nearest Jeep dealership.
