The booking page was opened for a few mins in the morning today. Went as far and the payment page and then stalled and the option disappeared altogether from their website. For diesel it showed 3 options (Platinum, Signature & Signature 4wd). What was interesting was that each of these variants was available in dual tone or the non dual tone option. Not sure if that was an error or that's going to be true. If true we will get an all black version as well (my assumption that the non dual tone will be all black).

Clarification on my earlier post. Just spoke to a SA and the dual tone mentioned in the site was for the exterior colors. Apparently the red and white would be available with the black roof hence the dual tone option.

Folks who own the previous gen Tucson does it affect you or can you live with it?
I have a 3rd gen Tucson for the last 7 months, I have covered around 9k kilometers so far(with over 90% highway drives).

I have always been a manual gearbox lover and hated automatics for the shift delay. But I love the 8 speed transmission of Tucson. You don't have to plan your overtakes with Tucson, I have only noticed it being in the wrong gear once. I am not a fan of insane speeds, but I have always been very particular about the acceleration and gear shifts. There is a noticeable improvement in performance in sports mode and I love the car.

I bought a Tucson over the Jeep Compass since I didn't like the delay in gearshift of Compass during overtaking maneuvers. Tucson has the best torque converter gearbox under 40L.

Most fresh videos are of level 2 ADAS in controlled conditions - no reviews up yet. A bit disappointing.

Even my SA confirmed it's a CKD. Glad that the structural rigidity and overall build quality will be on par with international spec cars, like the 3rd gen Tucson!

So there are 4 petrol and 6 diesel (including two 4WD) variants. Would be interesting to see the overall price range.

India bookings are limited to only 4 colors (Red, Black, While, Starry Night) but Nepal has more colors available to them. I was so looking forward to the Amazon Gray but it is not available for pre-booking. I wonder why?

There are only three variants Signature, Signature AWD and Platinum.

Dual tone is just a paint scheme and not a variant with any additional/deleted features.

The color options available right now seems limited. Not sure how easy/difficult it would be be change the color later on.

On colour options, 'Amazon Grey' is missing. This was called out during media launch event and also display vehicle was of same colour (apart from Red).

Only 1 is missing. Tucson was launched with 5 colours + 2 dual tone colours.

Any feedback on if there is ask to pay difference for people who had pre-booked for around ~25K as booking amount officially is 50K ?
