Ragaraj,
On Road Price in Bangalore will be 12.7 and 13.5 lakhs. (+/- 5k)

The auto is 80k more expensive than the Manual. There is no additional feature, except for paddle shifts.
At that price point does it makes sense to go for Auto / Manual, for an enthusiast?

Worth it, only if it's DSG (which this isn't).

Shan2nu

Thought so...
What's the point giving paddle Shifts, which enthusiasts will not use!

Just Bling factor

lol:

The civic has paddle shift on auto version?!?The website didnt mention it
This is great news .... finally newer technology is coming to india! I think the auto version will sell very well specially at this price.

honda took away price list from its web site... but why?????

ok so at 12-14 lacs. what does civic offer that the corolla/cedia/optra dont?

That is other than the Honda brand name and HOnda realibility.

I think the Civic is overpriced at 12-14 lacs. I'd rather buy the Turbocharged Octavia for a couple of lacs less.
The Civic should have been ideally priced between 7-10 lacs. In US the Civic sedan starts at $14760 ex-showroom making it one of the B segment cars like Maruti Alto or the Zen in India.
They should launch the Si at 12-14 lacs in India.

agree: 12-14 Lacs for a regular Civic is too much.

its not for 12-14L... its for 11.5 L on road in delhi for MT 1.8S...
