The differences between AT and MT can be put in simple words:
If you like to get a thrill out of driving, you drive for a living or if you want to feel "in control" (whatever that means), please buy yourself an MT
If you are person that drives out of necessity and needs to get from point A to point B and doesn't mind shelling out a few extra bucks (10% more on fuel and 10% more in initial cost) to get some comfort, buy yourself an AT.
This stupid discussion between AT and MT has gone long enough on multiple threads and let us put an end to AT bashing. The needs that the two meet are different and hence we should let people decide what they need.
