The new Porsche Macan luxury SUV has been launched in the India starting at Rs 83.21lakh.

New Macan has been launched in three variants - Macan, Macan S and Macan GTS.

Base Macan is powered by a 2-litre in-line-four, turbocharged motor that makes 265 bhp and 400 Nm. 0-100 comes in 6.2 sec with a top speed of 232kms

Macan S and Macan GTS come with a bigger 2.9-litre V6 engine.

Macan S makes 380 bhp and 520Nm. 0-100 comes in 4.6 sec with top speed of 259kms

Macan GTS makes 440 bhp and 550 Nm. 0-100 comes in 4.3 sec with top speed of 272km

All three versions come mated to Porsche's 7-speed PDK DCT unit and all-wheel drive as standard.



The updated Macan receives subtle styling changes across the line-up, including
- a reshaped front grille with a body-coloured inlay,
- a revised rear diffuser,
- new Sport Design exterior mirrors,
- new LED headlights, and
- new larger wheels.



The GTS variant follows Porsche tradition in gaining an array of black, sporty trim elements and a bespoke rear diffuser.





In terms of standard equipment, the Macan gets a 10.9-inch touchscreen display that runs Porsche’s sixth-generation infotainment software platform, Apple CarPlay compatibility, Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Sport Chrono package and air suspension (GTS).



Porsche will be offering a range of 14 colours newly available for the Macan.

THat is a significant price hike for the Macan 2.0. Macan S would touch 1 Cr. Ex showroom.

Just poor pricing, but given that this will be the last petrol macan, maybe would find takers.

That's a steep hike of around 13 Lakhs compared to 2019 prices. Let's not forget the fact that add on/customization is a very common practice which will bump up the price further. 1 cr + for a 4 cylinder engine, sorry Porsche
