| New car launches in India in December 2021 The month of December 2021 is expected to witness a number of new cars being launched in the market. Here are all the important ones. 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan  Volkswagen recently released a new teaser image of the upcoming 2021 Tiguan SUV. Along with the teaser, Volkswagen also confirmed that the updated 5-seater SUV will go on sale in India from December 7, 2021. The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan will come with a host of updates to both its exterior and interior. The 5-seater SUV will be powered by a 2.0-litre TSI engine producing 187 BHP & 320 Nm, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. Related Thread BMW iX  BMW has confirmed the launch of its first all-electric product for the Indian market, the iX SUV. The new BMW iX is based on an all-new aluminium spaceframe and comes with dimensions similar to the X5. In the international markets, the BMW iX is offered in 2 variants - xDrive 40 and xDrive 50. With the launch slated to take place on December 13, 2021, the BMW iX will take on rivals like the Audi e-tron, Jaguar I-Pace and the Mercedes-Benz EQC. Related Thread Kia Carens  Kia is said to globally unveil its all-new 3-row SUV, the Carens on December 16, 2021. The new Kia Carens is based on the Seltos and is expected to feature the same petrol and diesel engine options, along with similar transmission choices as well. Once launched in the Indian market sometime next year, the Kia Carens will take on the likes of the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari and the MG Hector Plus.
