Logan SUV

Don't know which language is this. could only make out....Logan SUV 4x4....launch in 2010....for 13000 euros.
The first pic suggests that the car is already being tested...so that means the design is more or less final... The second pic looks like an XC90 but the Dacia logo is there!!

The first desirable looking Logan - except the rear which looks like a shower curtain.

Looks nice from the pics. Along the likes of the RAV4 from Toyota. Would be good if they brought this to India instead of the Logan.

I thought Logan was supposed to be launched in India in both versions - Sedan and Station wagon (later)... Thats what they said during the last Paris motor show...

That is one nice looking SUV. Wonder what would be price range if at all coming to India. if it is under 8L, I am in for it!.

@ Ashutosh, seems like you are in love with the Logan series..,.you were the one who started the thread on the Logan as well. Great going brother...

Did you guys notice one thing? the headlights are almost the same as that of TATA INDIGO, mere coincidence?

Mahindra and Logan - listen up, bring this thing to India as soon as its launched. Localise production, including the engine and price it well....please.

The Logan SUV is clearly based on the new Nissan Qashqai. My guess is that Logan can introduce this vehicle sooner that 2010 as it is essetially a re-styled/re-badged Qashqai. have a look..

Shucks! This is called coals to new castle. They started with the premise of a cheap car... the allusion being it will beat Tata and its Indigo range. They failed and now they just took an Indigo and made a station wagon out of it and term it SUV!!!

Edit: On the other Logan thread I said that they probably need to work on the looks of the car and launch it in another garb, maybe a hatchback. Well, looks like this is exactly what I was thinking. If they decide to launch this one as Logan maybe they will be able to recover from the state they have got themselves into.

They can hardly sell a 'cheap' sedan at a price lower than the Indigo. How on earth can they even dream of selling a hatch lower than 2.5L of an Indica Xeta.

The pics look to be photoshopped, if u observe carefully.....

Ok if this is launched for 13000 euros i am sure mahindras are going to launch it india for 26000 euros then they will say its is the most resonable Suv in the world and if mahindras do the same the result will also be the same IE what happened to Logan

That is something M&M gotta work out. They created a lot of hype in the media at that time. Figures like 4.5 lakh for a sedan (after conversion) or some such crazy prices were being tossed around. Ok, so no one expected a very great thing on wheels. And even media agreed to that saying the Dacia cars are actually very very functional, they get the work done and that is about it.

M&M's problems arose when people realized that the car is priced to compete with the Fiestas of the world and sports an el cheapo look.

It all happened coz of M&M only... They had very crucial responsibility of pricing it right n compete with Indigo range... but M&M done their job so well that it is competing with Fiesta n Verna

. SUV is a much better looking.. Seems a sad demise of Logan is very near...
