WFH, Lockdowns and not being a primary family commuter, my Thunderbird 500 barely managed to cross 3000 kms in 3 yrs of ownership. Also planning to sell it off sooner or later.
My Wife's Jupiter does all the local commutes.

My Honda Activa will complete 9 years in January 2022. Current ODO is only 9523 kms. I use it only for very short commute.

We have a Chevy in the family that's done hardly 6600km in 10 years.

My CBR250 saw 30000 km in the first two years (2012-2014). Between 2014-2021 it's progressed to only 35000.

Have a 2009 Yamaha FZ at ODO of 15k.

Heck, I would have spent multiples of 15k on maintenance alone since she is attended to in authorised service center only.

Feels a bit lighter now knowing that I am not the only one here running low on an incredible machine.

Just for analogy, our Ritz entered our lives a year later in 2010 and that bull has clocked 1.7L

Talk about changing lifestyles and preferences. The bike has turned to a lifestyle showpiece and cars have taken over the place which once was two wheeler throne in family.

My Alto K10 bought in Aug, 2010 has around 19,000 km on the ODO. Use it mostly for short distance travel, shopping etc.

My Maruti Esteem type-1, purchased brand new in 1995 and virtually never used has only 21k on the clock, which is quite low for a 26 year old car:



The car is home to rodents, lizards, bugs and pretty much all other creatures from Bingle Bog.
After being abandoned for a long time, it is finally being brought back to life and will hopefully be able to make up for the missing miles.

Bought my RE Classic Chrome 500 on 13th December 2011.
Sold it on 1st February 2017 at 6729 kms, this has been the lowest for me ever.

Least mileage in my garage was the KTM RC390.

3.5 years old and it had run just 9500 km when I sold it.

My storme used to be the lowest run 4 wheeler till Feb 2021. It had run just 27000 km in almost 2.5 years. It became my daily driver for 9 months and now it is at 49000 km.

Anything below 10k km a year is too low for us. Even our beater cars have run 53000 km each in 5 years now.

Worst I have seen is my friends swift 1.3 petrol. 26000 km in 13 years!

Our all vehicles always had very low mileage, here are the odo readings for some of them:
2008 Discover 135 - 13.5 yrs - 16000 KM
2014 Polo 1.2TDI - 7.8 yrs - 18000 KM
2019 Pulsar 180F - 2.5 yrs - 1700 KM

Vento 1.6 MPI Trendline bought in Jan 2011, clocked 29k Kms just this sunday.

The last 8-10k has been in 2021 only when our much loved beater car Alto Lxi 2005 Type II turned 15 and clocked 1.5 L Kms and could no longer be used in NCR.

My dad has an Activa that he uses twice or thrice a month and after 2 years now it has run merely 1700kms approx. This is the lowest mileage per year we have put on in any of our vehicles till date. Example our 6.5 years old Innova has clocked 1.05 lakh so far. The running has come down due to covid for the last 2 years though.

Attached below is from our 5 year old Plusar 220F (2015-2020)
In ownership of 5 yrs we could only ride it for 4700 kms only.
Now the bike stands as-sold. We did not do justice with such poor kms on the odometer hence let it go.
I generally extract all the juice from vehicles and try to get the "value for money" (Paisa Wasool), but not this time.
