re: Scoop! Skoda Kodiaq Facelift prices leaked. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 34.99 lakh

- not having sporty red in sportline!!! Extremely disappointed
- colour distribution in the brochure is confusing.. no black in sportline and only white for style. Hope it's a mistake
- TPMS not a standard in all variants.. again terrible

re: Scoop! Skoda Kodiaq Facelift prices leaked. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 34.99 lakh

Have to say the Style variant is pretty loaded. Was expected a bit more difference between it and Sportline.

To summarize the variant differences in terms of features and not the overall look.

Sportline (over Style):
Digital Virtual Cockpit
Textile floor mats
All black interiors

L&K (over Sportline):
360 camera
Hill Descent Control
Dynamic Chassis Control
Heated & Ventilated front seats
Tyre Pressure monitoring system (TPMS)

Ideally would have loved the TPMS and the Hill Descent Control on the Sportline. Can understand the other 3 features being absent.

I wish they provided all black interiors on the L&K model. The Sportline looks amazing overall. Love the look of the Sportline variant (exterior and interior) and the feature list of the L&K.

Might be a tough pick between the grey options in sportline and L&K.

Is a 140mm laden GC good enough?

Hi,

Few questions regarding fuel:

1. Seeking advise from current owners of TSI: How difficult is to always look out for RON 95 fuel as against normal petrol ? Particularly if one were to travel outside the city ? Is required fuel available from all oil companies or restricted to a few ?

2. With the proposed launch of E20 fuel in future, do we expect normal petrol (91 octane), RON 95 and also E20 with these combinations to be provided at fuel pumps ?

3. Do older vehicles ( the ones designed/manufactured before the E10 blend) require specific maintenance while using E10 fuel in the medium/ long term ?

thanks.

I'll add my 2 paisa here:

Only IOC sells RON95 under the brand name of XP95 and prices usually around ₹4 more than normal RON91. The other RON97/99/100 etc. are priced at a significant premium, and hence prohibitive unless one has very low usage. I expect all the other PSUs to follow IOC and launch a RON95 version though.

For the ethanol blending, look at your manual. Modern EU cars can generally run on normal petrol all the way till E20.

Older vehicles are typically manufacturer-specific in the approach to ethanol blending. Best to check the specific manuals.

I live in Udupi which is probably a Tier 3 or 4 town. I have seen two IOC pumps retailing XP95 in Udupi. The second one started recently. I guess there is demand since it is only about 4 rs more.
If Udupi could have two pumps retailing XP95, I guess there should be a lot of pumps outside major cities retailing XP95. And other oil companies should be joining the bandwagon soon.

Guessing this would be for the Sport trim, right? Any idea how much it translates to approximate OTR pricing in Bangalore/Kerala?

re: Scoop! Skoda Kodiaq Facelift prices leaked. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 34.99 lakh

Will have to wait for the variant prices, but at that price it might kill the Tiguan and Citroen. 1.5L cheaper than the leaked prices as well.

According to Autocar:
Style: 34.99L
Sportline: 35.99L
L&K: 37.49L

I say kind of fair pricing considering the car has a lot equipment. Few months down the line with expected 1-2 lacs discount, it will be even more attractive in its proposition.

The official website has been uploaded with the pricelist. Surprisingly good pricing, IMO:

My pre-facelift Kodiaq has had no issues with GC so newer should not as well if GC is the same.

Edit: Why no TPMS in base models still. This should have been a must.

Very decent pricing for what it offers! Magnificently built, superb engine/transmission and 4*4 as standard (including sunroof!!). The Style variant is very well equipped and its not a bad buy at 35L! Well done, Skoda!

re: Scoop! Skoda Kodiaq Facelift prices leaked. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 34.99 lakh

Good pricing by Skoda this time, considering Tiguan with much lesser features and few useless ones(heated steering and seats) is available for 32L ex showroom. The Citroen C5 at 33.78 exshowroom will take a larger hit to the already 40-50 units they were able to sell as it is almost same price as this.

re: Scoop! Skoda Kodiaq Facelift prices leaked. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 34.99 lakh

Nice aggressive pricing.

I was expecting 40 lacs for the L&K variant.. and with all that goodies standard across the range with just the difference of Virtual Cockpit on the Sportline and the HVAC seats, DCC and 360 camera on L&K, there is not much difference otherwise between the variants.

Design is subjective but at Sportline is the value for money as far as design and features are concerned is what I feel.
