Wish they could now think of launching the Hexa BS6. If the variant line up stretches from 10 to 20 lakhs, Tata will pull customers from several segments.

At the bottom end of the market, an Altroz based MPV is something they can explore. They should atleast bring a concept to the auto expo and guage the response it gets.

Now that Tata is doing reasonably well in 20 lakhs+ segment, they can bring back the Hexa in BS6. The problem may be is the engine where they do not have a BS 6 one beyond the Fiat sourced 2 litre one that is being used in Harrier and Safari.

Also, it doesnt hurt to have two or more models in same segment. That way customers have more choices.

I strongly believe there is a space for a CS and a full fledged sedan in Tata line up.

Technically, the lead has narrowed (from ~3900 last month to ~3500 vehicles this month). Overall, all manufacturers are selling more cars MoM and Tata is growing a tad faster than Hyundai. Not sure how long this can be sustained, though. Nexon & Nexon EV sales is helping Tata show good numbers every month. Maruti, Toyota and Mahindra are all beefing up their lineup and Tata doesn't have any new model lined up in the near future. I wouldn't be surprised to see their numbers stagnate or start reducing MoM in the next 2-3 months.

My gut feeling is that these very high numbers are due to the last batch of Vitara Brezza’s being given to Toyota as their last batch of Urban Cruisers.

Nexon played a major role in Tata's arsenal for propelling it among the top 3 manufacturers.
Indian consumers now find Tata Motors cars much more value for money compared to previous version. Adding to the fact is also the increase of built quality and promoting it in a positive way helped then a lot.
