We can also add Honda Fit/Jazz to the list; although it may only be expected close to the end next year; depending on how fast Honda's new Rajasthan plant goes to steam. Man I hope they somehow launch it with the 1.5 VTEC (although its not gonna happen since it then would not be in the small car bracket). Hell I'll be ready to shell out even 8-8.5 for that if it comes with the VTEC mill.

LOL. True, very difficult. I wonder how many have bought a different car instead of the Fabia already.

Yeah, splash really looks good. It is an overall a different design in Indian Market. Companies really need to buckle up in their designs after its launch.

About Fabia: Skoda have an expensive after sale service. Don't you think Fabia will be an expensive buy for the indians?

I think they have announced that Linea will come soon. Grand Punto will have to wait.

So... I think the question mark is on GP now!

Is Suzuki not coming up with its Grand Vitara in India?
I am realy surprised why Mazda is not yet here. Any grapevines..???
It could give almost all sector cars run-for-their-money..!!!

In November 2007 Zee Business Channel had said that Hyundai is going to phase out Elantra and Tucson and will be launching Santa fe...
So not sure we would be getting any facelift elantra in 2008

Any updates by anyother individual on this?
