read in this months overdrive...
the NHC is gonna be launched with the Vtec towards the end of the year. The engine will probably produce the same output as the previous version i.e.106Hp, detuned from the original 110hp.

Now all thats needed is a way to disguise that "ducktail" of a boot

With 106bhp on a car that weighs over a ton, i don't think it'll be as responsive as the old Vtec, but watch for that top speed figure. The NHC is supposed to have a COD of .29 which is better than most cars in India, no wonder it hit 170kmph with a 77 bhp engine. I wont be surprised if the Vtec version manages 190kmph.

The NHC maylook odd but it can cut through air like no other car in it's class.

But personally i think Honda shoud be looking at increasing the torque on NHC.

Regards...

I'd love to buy the Jazz, if only Honda sold it here.

I think the engine is the same as the old Vtec i.e. 1497cc SOHC. If thats the case, the cost too should be reasonable.

Well, even if it ain't the same engine, one thing is for sure, Honda will not produce a crappy engine!!

Even if the new City is launched with a 120bhp engine, I will still take mine over it anyday. Dont get me wrong, the new City may be practical modern and suitable for India...but its just too boring for the enthusiast - And I am not talking only about the engine
