Now thats the physical part.
for the data link layer you can look up ISO standard 11898-1. This was done in 2003 to facilitate more open exchange. Having a common standard ensures easy development of third party applications and products. It also pulls down the development costs as the economies of scale pull down prices.
For those familiar with HDL programming, you can get a full source code from here

Just one simple answer, its a serial bus protocol used for drive-by-wire purposes and has variety of applications. It started in the avionics industry and has spread around after that.

Rajismine they also say this about another vehicle, also let me draw your attention to the the price of the vehicle 4.5 lakhs as shown in the article i dont think we can really trust what is put there.

Anyways until Scorpio doesn't really come with a stable chassis I don't think a better engine is going to solve its problems. Safari 2.2 is in its own league and if it comes out as what is being said here it would be the best SUV made by India.

This doesn't make sense. How did they review something that is not even released?

How Can That Be?

The info on the link is lots of bull****.

I know it for a fact that even the top hancho who is driving the Eagle under wraps for the last 20/25 days to test out does not know the full details.

What is reasonably confirmed is that they have toned down the engine from 140 to 120, weight down by 60 kg and it will be named vxi. It will also be pricey, the instrument cluster is not finalized. It's probably slated for launch around Diwali, but surely before December end. One of the main delay has been due to recalibration of the ECU unit.

We still have to wait and watch for the Scorpio 2.2, both engines are of similar capacity and have been developed in collaboration with AVL, Austria.

The other factor to be considered is if and whether they will change the body/suspension etc.

I am not surprised . It iss a Mahindra anyway !

If Logan could be declared a failure even before its national launch, If it can be proclaimed that scorpio topples at 40 kmph ( no, not when parked , atleast not yet, LOL ) , you can see reviews of eagle even before launch . Oh yes it is not refined as well.

Looks smashing but all the body work is metal and not fiber... it weighs the moon and with tyres as big as a boeing 747, the engine would need a 4x4 low ratio just to move the car.
